Color Sports Club | It's up to you which "color" you enjoy! | Nagano Prefecture - Introducing the National Backcountry Guide Club -

The wide range of routes is impressive, as you'd expect from a company with over 25 years of experience

Color Sports Club is a group based in the large fields of the Hakuba Mountain Range, located in the northern part of the Hida Mountains, also known as the ridge of Japan. They provide guides, as well as facilities such as a shop, cafe, and lodge. They have long been known for their backcountry style of skiing and snowboarding, and have been active both in Japan and overseas, in Japan's most famous mountain areas

He has many routes in the Hakuba backcountry fields that he has personally developed, so he can go to the fields with the best conditions for each day. His versatility is widely known

Furthermore, since its founding more than 25 years ago, Color Sports Club has placed great importance on deepening communication between guides and guests when they enter the mountains. This idea that mutual trust leads to a richer riding experience and a more enjoyable time has attracted many repeat customers over the years

Colorful tours based on the areas you enjoy

At Color Sports Club, each play area is characterized by a color. Each of the six colors offers its own unique "fun." Held from November to May, primarily in the Hakuba area, each "play (color)" lasts 4 to 6 hours.

For example, "Blue Play" is for first-time backcountry skiers and those looking for a casual experience. Following an orientation, participants enjoy a 400-600m elevation change.

"Yellow Play" is for advanced skiers looking to fully experience backcountry skiing. Making full use of snowshoes and climbing skins, participants enjoy a 600-1,000m elevation change, twice the Blue Play. Experiences on "Blue Play" allow participants to participate in "Yellow Play." Furthermore, repeat participants can enjoy routes on "Red Play," which offer twice the Yellow route, with an elevation change of 1,000-1,200m. The system is designed to allow participants to step up their game.

The changing color improves your skiing
