Niseko Mecca | Choose from a variety of options based on your level and desires, such as "I want to ski Mt. Yotei" or "I want to start on the slopes" | Hokkaido - Introducing the National Backcountry Guide Clubs

Guiding throughout Hokkaido, based in Niseko throughout the year

Niseko Mecca is based in Niseko, Hokkaido, and provides guide services throughout the prefecture all year round. They offer a wide range of guided tours of Hokkaido's natural fields, from backcountry guiding in the winter to trekking, canyoning, river and sea kayaking in the summer

Choose a tour based on experience and location

NisekoMecca offers four main types of winter backcountry tours. You can choose based on your desires and level, such as "I want to ski Mt. Yotei" or "I want to start on the slopes." It's also convenient that the guide will pick you up from your accommodation in the morning

[First Time Backcountry Skiing]

This is for skiers who are trying backcountry skiing for the first time. Equipment is included, so you can rest assured that participants can go it alone. There will also be thorough instruction on how to climb, ski, and use equipment such as snowshoes and beacons.

[Backcountry Guide (Niseko, Kiroro, Asahikawa)]

Depending on experience and weather, we will guide you to the mountain that is considered best for that day. Areas include Annupuri, Iwaonupuri, Nitonupuri, Chisenupuri, Rhododendake, Mekunikuni, Raidenzan, Shiribetsudake, and mountains outside the Niseko area. We also cover the Kiroro area, Sapporo Kokusai area, Daisetsuzan area, Tokachidake area, and Asahikawa area. The tour will be held even if there is only one participant (an additional fee will be charged if there is only one participant)

[Mount Yotei BC Guide]

The charm of Mt. Yotei is that you can enjoy a variety of slopes, from open runs to tree runs. This tour allows you to enjoy long runs and long hikes. However, to participate, you must have experience hiking for about three hours, have experience skiing on deep snow (powder snow), and be able to ski smoothly off-piste
