What is Kamui Ski Links (Hokkaido) like?

A technical day-trip ski resort where advanced skiers gather to show off their skills

Kamui celebrated its 40th anniversary last season and opened new courses to celebrate, bringing its total to 26, making it the largest ski resort in the northern Hokkaido area. Its iconic, boxy, four-seater yellow gondolas are a rare sight. Kamui's snow quality, thanks to its inland location, is unmatched in other areas with smooth powder snow. Un-groomed runs make up 35% of the total, allowing for plenty of powder-loving fun.

Most of the advanced runs are un-groomed, ranging from 800 to 1,200 meters in length, with maximum slopes exceeding 30 degrees. The undulating runs offer a wide variety of terrain, including muddy shoals, bumps, and walls to climb onto, ensuring a satisfying experience for skiers with a keen eye for the terrain. A tree-running course is also available at the top of the slope, allowing you to enjoy tree-running through the beautiful forest.
