What is Washigatake Ski Resort (Gifu Prefecture) like?

It is easily accessible, just 3km from Takasu IC on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway, and a new route from the Kansai region has made it even more convenient. A direct bus with a lift ticket included is also available

From the summit, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Mt. Hakusan, one of Japan's three most famous mountains, and there are 13 unique courses with names like "mysterious" and "picnic-like." What's more, if you use the mutual access service "Washitopia" with the adjacent White Pier Takasu, you can ski on all 26 courses

The 1,200m-long "THE ACTIVE" is one of the most impressive parks in the area, boasting the largest scale and number of features in Western Japan. It features a wide variety of unique features, including the famous easy-to-fly kickers, as well as unique boxes and rails

At the foot of the mountain, there are plenty of facilities for families to spend a relaxing day, including a well-equipped kids' park, a moving belt for beginners to practice on, two different types of restaurants, a local eatery with a loyal following, and a bath in the center house

Feel like a DJ! A service that lets you play your favorite tunes on the slopes

At Rocky Studio, located inside the restaurant on the third floor of the Center House, a DJ broadcasts music every day.
Guests can also request their favorite song and enjoy the music playing while skiing.

Kids' park "White Adventure" has been renovated!

The kids' park, where you can play in the snow and enjoy sledding and tubing on a special course, has reopened this season with an even larger and more comprehensive lineup.
In addition to the "Pandaruman Adventure Plaza," a ski practice area for children, a new "snowboard practice area" has also been opened, along with the introduction of a 100-meter moving belt. A
new paid lounge space has been opened in the Hotel Rainbow across the street, further improving the park's comfort.

・Northway Course

A mysterious forest course stretches for 1km from the summit of Quad 3.
Apart from the start, the slope is gentle, giving you a picnic-like feeling as you experience the immersion of nature with your whole body.

・Parallel course

Maximum gradient: 30 degrees, average gradient: 17 degrees / Distance: 1,300m / Slope orientation: -

This famous course is 1,300m long and 400m wide. With the view of the mountains stretching out before you, the feeling of freedom as you glide freely down the wide slopes is irresistible.
It is relatively empty, making it ideal for those who want to practice hard.

・Bunadaira Course

Maximum gradient: 30 degrees, average gradient: 17 degrees / Distance: 1,600m / Slope orientation: -

This is one of the main courses where you can enjoy dynamic downhill skiing. The slope changes and you can enjoy the feeling of skiing through the forest, giving you a tour-like experience. Skiing non-stop requires considerable skill and stamina, so it is recommended for intermediate to advanced skiers

・Ridge course

Maximum gradient: 35 degrees, average gradient: 20 degrees / Distance: 1,600m / Slope orientation: -

This long course branches off from the Bunadaira course. The 35-degree wall that awaits you at the end is nicknamed "Sadako" because it feels like you're being sucked in
