Popular "RANGER" continues in the 2023-2024 season
The RANGER series, which underwent a full model change in 2022-23, has been well received. '23-24 continues and expands with a new 84. The lineup of waist widths is 6 models of 116, 108, 102, 96, 90, and 84 mm.
The secret to RANGER's superior performance is a sheet of titanium called "Shaped Titanium." The titanium is included so that the notch called "flex cut" can be seen for each model. Thinner boards are longer in the front and back, and the center flex cut is smaller. The thicker the titanium, the shorter the flex cut.
The length of the stiff titanium sheet provides more edge, stability and carving performance, while the size of the flex cut softens the flex for improved maneuverability. By controlling the softness of each model in balance with the thickness of the board, it is easier to handle and you can achieve the riding you want.
On the other hand, the added 84mm does not use titanium on purpose. It is set softly, and you can enjoy a natural and honest ride. Its strength is the comfort that can be worn all day long in a relaxed manner.
A rocker shape is adopted for the nose. The rocker in the nose makes it easier to introduce turns, and in powder it runs better. Models with a center of over 100 mm give the impression that the turn entry is particularly light, but there is a firm hardness from the feet to the tail. At 108 mm and 116 mm, it becomes a twin tip shape. The flex is also softer, and even in deep powder, you can get buoyancy and glide lightly and stably.
102mm is a particularly popular model among size variations. Its selling point is its well-balanced versatility, which can be used in any situation from powder, backcountry, and on-piste. It is said that this (pictured) Celeste is overwhelmingly popular for color.
On the other hand, the 90mm center model has the longest titanium and is strong against grooming burns. It is characterized by carving performance that is not inferior to alpine skis. 96mm is perfect for users who want to challenge powder from now on.
