For the 2025-2026 season, the flagship "lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Jacket & Pants," the pinnacle of the NORRØNA Snow Collection, has undergone a complete redesign, adopting GORE-TEX® PRO fabric with an ePE membrane.
Since its debut in 2004, this model has been continuously improved, incorporating the latest innovative technologies to provide the best possible features. It has been highly praised as the first freeride ski/snowboard jacket to feature new cuts and bold colors.
The Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Jacket is a waterproof and durable shell jacket for skiing and snowboarding, and is considered the origin of big mountain freeride models. This iconic shell jacket is designed for freeriding, but is also suitable for general outdoor activities such as trekking and mountain climbing, as well as general skiing and snowboarding on and off the slopes.
It's made with GORE-TEX® PRO fabric, a world-class membrane that offers durably waterproof protection, optimal breathability, complete windproofness and is environmentally friendly.
The GORE-TEX ePE (expanded polyethylene) membrane represents a significant milestone in the pursuit of responsible performance, with high-performance, durable products designed for long-term use. It's lightweight, thin, yet strong, with less than 50 ppm of PFAS (fluorinated organic compounds) and a low carbon footprint. New GORE-TEX products combine this membrane with select fabrics, including recycled materials.

The pants have a regular fit and are made from a tough fabric, but thanks to their precise patterning they don't feel heavy and don't restrict leg movement. The waist can be adjusted with Velcro, and the hem with snow gaiters is reinforced with edge guards made from strong Vectran fiber. They come in six colors, matching the jacket's colors.
